Check a listing before you commit

Two of the three checks that matter, in one place: whether the agent is licensed with the Land Department, and whether the asking price matches what comparable homes actually sold for. Free, no login.

Pick a project from the list to enable the check.

What this checks — and what it can’t

✓ The agent’s licence

Against DLD’s register of 34,123 licensed brokers. A match means registered — not vouched for.

✓ Whether the price is real

Against 1,353,718 registered sales — what comparable homes actually transacted at, not what other listings ask.

✗ The Trakheesi listing permit

Every legitimate Dubai listing carries a Trakheesi permit number, and newer ones a Madmoun QR code. We don’t check it for you: DLD verifies permits one at a time through its own page, with no feed to query in bulk, and we would rather say so than invent a reassuring answer. It takes a minute to check yourself on DLD’s e-services, and ask the agent for the permit number before viewing.

The full step-by-step is in the verification guide. Renting instead? Check what your landlord can charge.
